Happy Hour: Dog Days Delight

When it comes to Summer, parting is such sweet sorrow. Luckily we saved the best for last - the dog days, which totally justify drinking wine on patios way past bedtime and listening to Don Henley on repeat.

And with August and everything after, comes a certain nostalgia that can only be quenched with the beer that has said Summer on boats since the Beatles topped Billboard.

Labatt Blue, seen here in popular TallBoy form, may not be the prettiest girl in the pageant, but it was holding court long before "craft" meant anything other than "macaroni necklace."

So while we, Chicagoans, have a brief weekend of Goldilocks weather (not too hot, not too cold), get outside and connect with your jean short-wearing, beer-drinking roots.
